Heart Hotel Nordstern welcomes you to Mayrhofen with our international team and relaxed, down-to-earth atmosphere. You’ll be staying just steps from the lifts, giving you easy access to the stunning Zillertal Alps, ideal for hiking, mountain biking, or simply enjoying the alpine views. This is Tyrol at its best, with all the local flavor and laid-back mountain vibes.
Dining options
You can choose to book your stay with Breakfast or Half Board.
Breakfast includes a continental breakfast buffet served every morning, featuring fresh bread, croissants, eggs, fruit, and more – everything you need to fuel a day in the mountains.
Half Board includes the daily breakfast buffet as well as a delicious two-course dinner in the evening, followed by a sweet treat. We serve the main course as “social dining” at your own table, creating a cosy and personal atmosphere. Half Board is possible to book from 27.6-30.8.2026.
Of course, we’ve also thought about the youngest guests — if they’re not into the adult dishes, there’s a special kids’ menu with familiar favorites most children love.
Wellness
Heart Hotel Nordstern is connected to the Sport & Spa Hotel Strass. For an extra fee, you can enjoy the wellness and spa facilities there — the perfect way to relax after a long day of hiking, biking, or exploring the alpine trails.
Bar
After a day of exploring the mountains or enjoying the fresh alpine air, relax and unwind at the hotel’s bar, open daily from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
With its nice atmosphere and comfortable surroundings, the bar is the perfect place to gather with friends and family, share stories from the day, and enjoy a well-deserved break. Rooms
At Heart Hotel Nordstern, the rooms range from single rooms to double rooms with extra beds for an additional skier. You will also find rooms that are ideal for families travelling together on a ski holiday. The hotel offers both junior suites with extra beds and family rooms with two separate bedrooms. In other words, there are room options whether you are travelling alone, with your partner, friends, or family.
The rooms at Heart Hotel Nordstern are cosy and spacious by Austrian standards – something we consider to mean solid comfort and quality. Some rooms have a romantic touch with carpets and large floral fabrics. Regardless of the style, all rooms are well maintained and equipped with everything you need for your ski holiday.
The hotel consists of two buildings connected by glass corridors, offering beautiful views of the town and the snow-covered mountains in the background. The two buildings are called A and B, making it easy to see which building your room is located in. Building A is called Apart, and Building B is called Garni. Both buildings have ski storage facilities, making it convenient no matter where you stay.

We want to ensure a great restaurant experience for everyone. Therefore, we offer a vegan menu for guests with special dietary requirements—whether you are vegetarian, vegan, pescatarian, or lactose intolerant. We also accommodate the following allergies: gluten, nuts, milk, and lactose. To ensure we can meet your needs, please inform us of any special menu requests at the time of booking.
If you have other allergies or dietary preferences not listed above, you are welcome to contact us and we will look into the possibilities of accommodating your request.
Parking Options
Parking is available at Heart Hotel Nordstern, with both underground and outdoor parking options. Please note that indoor parking spots are limited and can´t be reserved in advance. Parking is available for an additional fee of 9 euro per night per car, and you can easily book indoor parking by contacting the hotel. Keep in mind that the parking garage has a max height of 220 cm.
If you’re arriving in an electric car, there are charging stations available in town — including one next to Parkplatz Europahaus and several others nearby. Feel free to ask the Hotel before departure for more details.
Arrival and Departure
If you arrive early in the morning, you have the option to purchase the breakfast buffet. The price is €18 for adults and €10 for children up to and including 12 years old. Breakfast is served from 7:30 AM to 9:30 AM. On departure day, the final meal at the hotel is breakfast. However, it is possible to purchase a sandwich to take with you on your journey home.
Tourist Tax Payable at Destination
The tourist tax must be paid directly to the hotel—either in cash or by credit card—and is not included in the price of your trip, as we are not permitted to handle payments between government authorities and guests. The tourist tax per person per night varies depending on the official hotel classification and destination. Children up to 14 years old are exempt from paying tourist tax; the age limit varies by country, destination, and hotel.
